Today we reviewed how to calculate the probability from data in a frequency table. We also covered the rubric for the mini-project for Frequency Tables or Weighted Trees - your choice. Please pay close attention to the rubric as all items will be graded accordingly. You will find the following attachments: rubric and sample projects for both probability models.
Weighted Tree Diagrams - today we used the AMDM Cafe menu established last week to create and solve probability questions. We also went over the project scoring as projects were handed back and revisions can be made only to probability questions- which must be submitted by Thursday.
There will be a short quiz on weighted trees on Friday.
Today we covered how to create area models for various mazes and final the probability of the outcomes depending on the scenario. Use the notes below to guide you on your project.
Note: Quiz will be on Tuesday and all projects are due Tuesday as well...no exceptions
Today we covered how to build tree diagrams in order to determine pure probability; very different perspective than venn diagrams. See the notes from the classwork/homework for Tree Diagrams.
Don't forget that Monday is the due date for the 3-part Probability Project!
